Yes, we’re supposedly talking about the lunatic fringe here, but scarily, it’s not all that far off from the things I hear from the average “person of faith” (and I’m not singling out any one faith here; it just happens that these supposed “Christians” are the ones grabbing the headlines this week).

It’s sad, because at times, it makes me so angry to see stuff like this that it leaves me momentarily questioning our First Amendment rights (which is probably part of why it’s done, if you’ll don a tinfoil hat with me for a bit), and it also makes it extremely hard for me to trust people who just want to believe that everything’s going to be alright and can’t do it without the help of a so-called “higher power”.
